Tiny little house

Somewhere in a tiny little country, there was a tiny family: Father, Mother, and a very special boy named Max.  Max didn't like anything white. He always wanted to make the world colorful, but for him, the whole world was just this tiny house: one bedroom, one living room, and a kitchen. Mom, Dad, and this tiny house were more than the whole universe to him. It was a happy family. Mom was proud and happy to have Max and her husband. She always wanted to share every single moment with them. But time passed. They left their little house to find themselves. Not together, but each was searching for the little keys to happiness they had lost many, many years ago. The happy little house was empty. The small, happy family was no longer there. Only Mom found her key to happiness. But the happiness key isn’t like any other key—once you open one door, another one closes. And that’s what happened. Once Mom found her happiness, Dad started to feel lonely. Only Max was happy without a key...

An Apple

Close your eyes. Do you see an apple on your table? It’s red and looks ripe. But how do we know that the red you see is the same red I see? Maybe it’s a bit brighter, or darker, or more vibrant. We just assume we see it the same way. And what about the taste? How do we know the apple tastes the same to both of us? We can describe it, yes, but how do we know those words mean the same to you and me? The same world, the same combination of electrons, protons, and neutrons. But they only exist inside us, shaped by the way we perceive them. And what about you? What about me? We’re made of the same material. Most of the elements in our bodies were born billions of years ago in dying stars. We are made from the same material, yet we’re so different. Is it all just random calculations and reactions in our biological brains? Do you feel so? Close your eyes again. Do you see an apple on the table? Maybe it’s not an apple at all.
